::The cashier was SO personable and accommodating. Now when I got home.....my takeout was DEELICIOUS!!! My mom enjoyed it as well. We had the ribs, collard greens, mac-n-cheese, and corn bread. Tasted like angels were dancing on our tongues. ♡♡♡

::What can I say about this place that hasn't been said already? Great tasting southern style food and bang for your buck. They have a nice selection of whiskey beyond the typical jack and johnny. The ribs, beans and corn bread are worth the trip everytime. If there is one thing I would say they have going against them, it's that there is no desert menu.

::Ah this place was lackluster. The chicken was dry and was kissing the smoke flavor and salt! The chicken also had a burnt skin like it was placed on a grill and not in a smoker. The greens was a spicy mess, the Mac and cheese looked and tasted like the roux was not cooked long enough as the cheese sauce was clumpy,grainy and coagulated by the time it reached me. The only things I enjoyed was my drink and the corn bread. The wait staff should have been more attentive given the amount of people in there but I didn't go for them. I went for the food and was sadly disappointed. Le sigh will not be back again.

::The Smoke Joint is fantastic. I went with a group of people so I was able to try a variety of dishes. The ribs and the chicken were perfectly done and delicious. The beans were also quite good. They also had excellent drinks, including one with ginger beer that I loved. I highly recommend this place.

::When it comes to food, it is great! but I got the impression that male servers don't want to work there. No greetings. The place wasn't busy but It almost took 10 min to place an order. Had to ask twice to get ketchup and additional plates for ribs. It can be a whole lot nicer place with better service.
