  The Shelter is a "speakeasy" in Hurricane O'Reilly's (a sort of typical, boring Irish sports bar). I put speakeasy in quotes because it's really just the back function room with a curtain partly obscuring it,and a separate​ bar, bartender, and menu. I'll start with the drinks, which were fantastic. They hired a truly talented bartender and I thought everything was great. Really really well done and I'll probably be back for him. The food has a sort of Mexican vibe and isn't as good. We tried the guacamole (bland), the avocado fries (fine, about what you'd expect), and a few different tacos (generally under seasoned with dry and tough meat). And the room was pretty empty and very dark (we had to use our phones flashlights to read). Like I said, I'll be back, but just because of the fabulous drinks.
