  Beware!!! Do not trust the information posted on their website. I applied for a lease at Rixey, paid the application fee, and later found out that they only lease apartments to students. While googling for places near Arlington, I came across Rixey. It had decent reviews on google, so I went ahead and applied for a lease through their webpage. I decided to take a tour of the place once the application gets approved and before signing the lease. I did not hear back from them for a few days, so I called them to understand what was going on, and that's when they let me know that they only lease apartments to students. That came as a surprise because I am so sure that I checked the terms while applying, and they haven't mentioned it on their website. But I'm so glad that I used my credit card to pay the application fee. Even if it was just 30$, I disputed the charge. I hate giving away my money to scammers.

  I spent 4 weeks at The Rixey as part of a summer professional development program along with 65 other social studies teachers. It was clean, well-furnished, and felt very safe. The students (especially Angel!) working at the front desk were always friendly and helpful. Richard, the building manager, went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable! The deck on the 15th floor became a popular gathering place - with a spa, cornhole, barbeque grills, and more. We had an amazing view of the 4th of July fireworks over the Washington Monument! All in all, a great stay!

  The Rixey provided a beautiful, convenient location for my summer stay in Arlington. I enjoyed the large windows and modern appliances. I also really loved the community aspect of the Rixey - the rooftop was such a fun place to relax and enjoy a gorgeous view of the Washington Monument! Definitely recommend

  The Rixey is a great place to live in the Arlington area. Great value for a good price. You get it all at one price: TV, all utilities, fully furnished apartment, gym, parking, conference rooms, rooftop with jacuzzi, grills, and mini-golf area plus astonishing city view. Most importantly, at the Rixey you receive from the start very professional, helpful, and nice customer service from all the Rixey staff personnel. I lived at the Rixey for six months 2020/2021. If I come to the US again I will do the same. I highly recommend it.

  My girlfriend and I just moved in this past month and by far it's one of the best apartments in the area. Caroline and Kathryn helped us since day one. They were very nice, extremely polite and exceptionally helpful. They were even able to show us the apartment without any appointment set up and they were always very welcoming. They will also answer every single e-mail of us in just minutes This first experience was actually one of the main reasons we decided to take the apartment. We will be always very thankful to them. The location is perfect and close to everything. The staff there are all professional and accommodating. The day of our move in, even though they didn't had the service elevator available yet, they were to reserve one of the elevator and even provide us a moving trolly for our stuff. A few days after moving in we noticed a little problem in our bathroom ceiling and we placed a maintenance request -- it was a Sunday afternoon they were there in a jiffy. We were very impressed how quick they came and how efficient were with the job. They made my experience moving to Arlington a memorable one and gave us a peace of my mind. Building it's extremely quiet and sometimes we even forget we have neighbors. We are very excited to see all the amenities when they are done. Very pleased and happy to live here so far!
