  Went there this morning around 9 with my fiancé for breakfast. It wasnt crowded at all and we wanted to sit outside on their patio. There was four tables for six open so we thought we are going to be seated right away but she told us to wait 20-30min till one of the three single table is free. I asked her if we can sit on one of those six-seats table since they weren't busy that morning, she said no bc the table would have to be clear out ... seriously?!! So they rather let their customers wait for 30min than clear out a table in 30seconds?! Of course we left to another restaurant and we got seated immediately, and guest what..on a table for six. Good luck River Edge Cafe !!

  Great river spot. Food is very pricey for what you get and food is just ok. We got a Cobb salad and Texas nacho appetizer at lunch and it was $36.

  Great location right on the river walk. The service was not great and the food wasn't what I had hoped. I would be willing to try it again.

  Hotel restaurant right on the Riverwalk. Indoor and outdoor seating. Very nice breakfast buffet. Simple food prepared very well.

  Best food I had while in San Antonio. Tremendous appetizers and you get plenty of food, the view is also lovely of the board walk. The place is pretty clean. I was pretty pissed that my order was ruined the second time I went. By ruined I mean the waitress didnt put it in and then instead of honoring the fact that she messed it up she made a ton of excuses. Aside from that good food, good drinks.
