::Manifesto is one of the coolest speakeasies you will ever visit and on of the hippest cocktail bars in KC. The bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable. The drinks are a tad pricey but really phenomenal. Great place for a date night. I recommend dressing up if you plan to visit.

::I've had drinks downstairs several times and love the speakeasy style bar. This was my first visit to the restaurant for dinner. Service was great, atmosphere on a weekday evening very pleasant. The food was good, but the creative drinks stand out more.

::Best Braised Veal Cheeks you will ever put in your mouth! So tender. And we really enjoyed the Cotechino appetizer with sausage! Our waitress was great. And when they saw that a proposal was taking place at our table they brought us all a glass of champagne!

::I figure the first trip to this place be a special occasion. What better than Valentine's Day?? Oh my, this was an excellent choice! We decided to get a few shareable plates and one main dish so we could try a variety of food. The pork soup... Probably best I've ever had! Seriously... You need to try it! The meatball appetizer was cooked perfectly and very flavorful. The main course, a tender, juicy, steak was top notch as well! I highly recommend making it here for a special occasion or just a nice night out.

::Quaint American restaurant, nested in the heart of the KC crossroads district. Small, but meticulously crafted menu. We have eaten a few times, but rabbit tacos, bison steak, and a creamy pasta dish were the headliners on our last visit. All were very good. Drinks were also very good. They offer a limited selection of beer and wine that seem to pair well with the menu. Service was good but spotty. Our server didn't have a great understanding of the ingredients of one of our dishes. Overall, the Rieger has very good food, good drink, variable service, and is a bit overpriced in my opinion. Note: The building, comprised of the restaurant, downstairs speakeasy and small hotel, dates to the 1920's as an old hotel.
