::So I have dealt with 5 different motorcycle shops in the Tampa area (Cahill's, House Cycle, OTC, Moto (across from House Cycle). I have decided to stick with The Ride Factory from now on, here's why... Cahill's is an absolute mess. They are hard to deal with (scheduled a drop off a week and a half in advance, even called ahead the day before, only to be told on Saturday morning when I dropped it off that it was NEXT weekend! It wasn't). The actual work area looks like an episode of hoarders. If you want to buy a brand new yamaha, this is the only place you can go. I needed the seals changed on my 1982 Honda 250. I regret taking it there. OTC is small, family run shop. Not bad as far as honesty and small, inessential repairs. I had them fix a tire valve for me, was happy with that. I asked him to let me borrow a simple tool to change the setting on my rear suspension, he didn't have the tool. Kind of a red flag for me. They rely on ONE master mechanic for major repairs, he's a young guy so the kind of experience gained with time isn't there. I would let them mount a new tire, but not replace my seals. Pricing was fair. House cycle is a close second to The Ride Factory. The guys that work there are kind, knowledgeable, and fair. He replaced the tube in my rear tire. The issue was coming from the inside of the tire, like a spoke poking the tube. HE DIDN"T FIX THE ACTUAL ISSUE. Just replaced the tube and it went flat in like a month, annoying. They get good marks for their customer service, I know it sounds corny but they're obviously good guys and have been around a while. Here's what I like about The Ride Factory... Had my bike towed there by 'knowtow', they were able to simply add the tow charge to the mechanic bill to be paid upon pickup, great start. I've had them replace the tube on the 1982 Honda 250 that House cycle failed to repair, they knocked it out and also gave me some advice about the bike. They have also replaced both tires on my 2006 Honda VTX 1300. The level of communication is beyond great. We worked out a timeline for having the tires done 2 weeks apart, The call when things come in, keep the appointments that they make. They replaced the spark plugs for nearly nothing, showed me the old ones, told me they were the wrong ones, checked my idle for me. repaired my axle (slightly bent) for free. Really, above everything, it's the little things that make the biggest difference. The shop is clean, they take the time to explain things and give you options, the pricing is fair, Bryan and the guys know the trade like true pros, and if you look around at the bikes that are there at the shop, it's evident that some serious riders trust them as well. It's like a dang Harley Hall of Fame on display. Summer, the gal that runs the office, is nice and on point. I feel like they were busy when I left on saturday around lunch, so make sure you call ahead to avoid a long wait for service. But I can't imagine taking my bike anywhere else at this point. This review is so long because I hope this helps someone avoid the incredible amount of time-wasting hassles that I experienced to gain this information. Ride on

::Ms. Somer Huffman is extremely knowledgeable, and Very helpful. I'm going to buy a bike (from them, or elsewhere) and bring it here to get crappy-looking-Chrome swapped out with powder-coated/blacked-out external parts.

::Great folks work at this local shop. I doubt if I'll ever take my bike anywhere else as long as I live in the area. Every cruiser owner I know recommends TRF.

::I stopped in for their annual party last summer free food , band and beer. I have been back a couple times looking at their bikes. Very nice professional people. I will go back there when my bike needs service.

::I just had to share the exceptional experience I had with Summer and Damien at The Ride Factory. I found a used Harley on their site that I was interested in. The buying process was painless, no obsessive back and forth. I received the paperwork within a couple days of agreeing on a price and the bike was ready to be shipped a couple days later. This is nothing truly out of the ordinary but what blew me away was the condition of the bike was better than they had advertised. I have purchased vehicles and motorcycles sight unseen before and have just come to expect that there will be issues, either mechanical or cosmetic, that are note being mentioned. Not the case with this beauty! The paint was nearly flawless (the bike is 12 years old), no digs or dents, and it runs like a dream! I cannot thank the crew at The Ride Factory enough.
