What ingredients sum up a great neighborhood restaurant? Is it the neighborhood? Something tucked away slightly off the beaten path, but accessible for those in the know. Perhaps it is the service? Somewhere gracious to newcomers and regulars, a place where a patron is made to feel at home. The cuisine must be important right? Dishes that highlight the bounty of American ingredients with European technique and sensibility. While it's hard to calibrate in what ratio the above components need to be combined in order to create a true neighborhood spot, The Plimoth has certainly mastered the formula. The food, service and setting are perfect for a casual weeknight out or an evening of more importance. The Plimoth is a restaurant every Denverite should seek out, just don't tell too many people, we would hate if it was harder to snag our favorite table.

This is decent eating place, fresh food but very less quantity per order. That is something needs to be improved. If you like small portion with full price then you should be fine. :)

Surprisingly delicious. Lots of attention and a truly savory cuisine. I was nervous when I couldn't pronounce much on the menu. And while I'm certainly not unsophisticated it's hard to have confidence when you're not familiar with the fare. Our group ordered a variety and we all cleaned our plates. Nice place and friendly environment.

Maybe my expectations were too high? The reviews got me really excited about this place. You can absolutely tell the owners/Chefs put a ton of pride into what they do. But I took a friend /chef from Italy, and neither of us were wowed with the starter options, and entrees were a lack luster/ under seasoned (duck was the best). Kind of a bummer, not sure I’ll be back to pay that much. I’d rather go to acorn.

What an amazing place. Definitely a hidden gem. Went here Friday night for my mom and I's birthday. Such a great place to celebrate. Outstanding service from the moment we stepped into the restaurant until we walked out. We were greeted warmly by Adam, the host, he graciously thanked us for celebrating our birthday with them and ensured that we would have a great night. Upon sitting down we were brought glasses of champagne to celebrate! So thoughtful. We had the cauliflower appetizer and it was unbelievable. From the short menu, we pretty much tried every main course, vegetable curry, lobster pasta, roasted duck, chicken and roast beef. All were delicious. They certainly care about what they are serving their customers and it is refreshing to see that. Highly recommend.
