This place is awesome. It's tucked away off a side street behind Pike's Place Market. The staff were very friendly and sociable, and the restaurant had a great vibe inside. It's literally an old fashioned pink door on a nondescript building. You enter wondering if you found the right place, only to walk down the stairs and KNOW you are in the right place! I had some oysters and absolutely loved them, and I don't even care for oysters-probably because nobody does them right in Toronto. The meatballs blew me away and the sausage was incredible. I also had the rice balls-forget the name-and would highly recommend them. Tiramisu wasn't too sweet, just right. Definitely a must visit in Seattle!

The food here was amazing! We choose to sit at the bar since we were just ordering a couple smaller plates and the bar service was great- big large open bar! We were recommended by a local to order the oysters, the mussels and clams. We did just that, paired with their Chardonnay it was perfect and delicious! Definitely recommend for ambiance as well!

A restaurant isn’t just about the food, its also about having an INCREDIBLE dining experience. Service and ambiance are just as important. The pink door is a hidden GEM!! What an amazing experience and incredible food! Talk about having a party for your taste buds! I have traveled the world and to say a place is amazing is because it really is. Alissa was incredible and made us feel very welcome and made the best recommendations! My favorite dish was “Paglia E Fieno” a seasonal truffle paste with mushrooms from all over the world, it’s a must try! Highly recommend this restaurant!

Took us a couple of tries before we found it. We passed it so many times. The atmosphere of the place is a bit hidden, where, if you're walking on Post Alley, you'll notice a pink door and when you open it, it opens up to the restaurant where then you'll walk down a set of stairs and see all the interesting decor of the place. However, its def a spot to see and dine in. I didn't have a hard time getting reservations. The server were extremely helpful and patient as well as quick. Everything was great. Amazing food. So good. I love the vibe I get when I'm there. The music playing in the background is perfect basically everything on the menu is great so you won't be disappointed. VERDICT: WORTH IT.

Was recommended this Italian restaurant while waiting in line at the original Starbucks. When people say whole in the wall, it is! Once there, had a normal great and seated. This place has bar seating, front area, outside seating and new back area with local art seating. The plates came out with our awesome waiter that recommended his favorites when he was a customer prior to working and it was not disappointing. Great flavors, great presentations and the food tasted so fresh. I would come here again. Make sure to make reservation because you’ll get much better seating. Note: portions are small and place is in the alley behind original Starbucks. Hint: look for Pink Door
