  Mayumi is fabulous! She spent so much time on my hair to make sure it turned out perfect. She is really talented and such an amazing person! I had my hair painted and have gotten so many compliments! It’s the perfect blonde on my dark hair, just right for summer. I will always go to Paint Box! The most sincerest thank you Mayumi!

  I've been getting my hair colored for like 18yrs- everything from foils, to biolage, to platinum blond... from the incredible & cheap Dominican salons of my youth, to the over priced & over hyped Madison ave/Beverly hills places, to the local hipster bk joints, and nothing has come close to The Paint Box. The cozy fam vibe, perfect playlist, comfy atmosphere and the super talented ladies that make you look effortlessly fantastic. My color has never looked more natural, all thanks to Clarissa- a true artist who honed her craft under Jenny, the owner; a master hair painter. And then there's Camille on cut, who'll give you those soft layers you've always dreamed of. Go here, trust me. You won't regret it.

  These women are color experts! Mayumi just made me look like a celebrity giving me perfect platinum blonde hair. Jenny the owner is extremely skilled and true artist when it comes to natural looking highlights. Amazing ombres. I’ve gotten my fair share of terrible dye jobs in the past from other places and I can’t recommend this place enough. 100% worth it
