::Was a great experience! We originally went to the River’s Edge Hotel & Spa restaurant but realize it wasn’t our style. So we walked no more than half a mile to The Old Spaghetti Factory. The food was amazing, we had the Spinach & Cheese Ravioli and the Spinach Tortellini with Alfredo Sauce. Both of our meals were a three course meal so it came with a soup or salad (appetizer) the entree, and ice cream for desert. The portion size for it all was perfect and came out in a timely manor. Waiter was fabulous. Highly recommend this restaurant.

::At least a step or two above Olive Garden, but not exactly fine Italian cuisine. It has a fun family atmosphere, with a kitschy, turn off the century theme. Would I take a family here? Yes, for sure; the spaghetti and meatballs is sure to please the little ones. Would I take a date here? Not a chance, although it would have been a decent place to eat on prom night 15 years ago! The menu items are the standard faire, bland and uninspired; it's corporate, cookie cutter food, which is replicated in all of their restaurants around the country. You don't have a head chef, whipping up one of his favorites if Grandma's recipes, based on what is fresh at the farmer's market that morning, but I guess that's not the idea there anyways. One thing that Portland can be proud of is this is the ORIGINAL Old Spaghetti Factory; the first that started a chain, right here in the Rose City!

::Great service and great price. Both my husband's meal and my own were decent, not 5/5 but good quality. The grounds are lovely and the back room has a nice view of the waterfront. All in all a quality dinning experience. Plus free ice cream after your meal!

::The food is great, the portions are generous. I only gave 4 stars because the service was awful, but when we told the manager, he just told us the bill was on the house :O Great views from the window on the top level. Our gathering was very cozy and intimate, we were about 10 people. Overall, great experience. I am just hoping the awful service was because the waitress was a newbie. I will definitely comeback and recommend it to others.

::Very disappointing. Took us 45 min to be seated when we had a reservation. Reservations are designed to prevent this situation. Once seated, it took another 20 min to get service and our drinks/water. An hour later, when the food arrived, it was cold. Even our 3 year old thought it was bad. Talked to the manager, who offered us more food but at that point we had been there for over an hour and a half and did not want to wait any longer for food. Went went to another place and will never return here. (The place was NOT very busy and there were several empty tables. There was/is no excuse for this)
