::My friend and I decided to give a chance to this shop because the advertising online looked really good, and the specials seemed great. We went in yesterday for the unlimited waffle and toppings bar that we had seen online. I was disappointed to find that it was just an ordinary hotel waffle maker, that we poured box mix into ourselves. The barista brought me a cup of mix to pour into the maker, and I had to point out that it was just cloudy water. She told me "the person who made the mix yesterday must not have stirred it" (great, day old mix sitting in an unknown container). She brought me back the cup with more powder mix poured into it and I made a waffle. I then had to ask for toppings, and it turns out they only had chocolate and caramel syrup and whip cream, which is just the same thing they put into the drinks. Not a "fully loaded waffle bar" like I was charged for. Felt very scammed. My friend got a cappuccino, and I got a Latte, and neither one seemed to have any espresso in it, but there were grounds floating on top. We also had to pay a service charge on top of the prices for the coffee and waffles. Overall very disappointed. This place needs a lot of work.

::As already stated, the owners are the best part! They support local, are Veteran owned and give back to the community. It’s a great spot to meet friends or clients over a cup of coffee.

::I had a really good scone from here today! It was made locally. Always happy to support military owned businsses as they fight for our freedom that we take for granted. The barista was super cute and helpful!

::I gave this a 3 because the barista was lovely. The coffee was... fine? It's Costco beans. I was hoping for an espresso with good roaster like counter culture or even a basic lavazza. If you're in a hurry and you have no coffee and they're nearby, and they're not busy then get some.

::Ugh I hate writing bad reviews, but I hate having terrible coffee too. I was told that this spot was black owned so it was a must visit. Especially in this area where not many spots are black owned. At first impression I was disappointed. The decor is not great at all. A coffee shop should feel welcoming, comfortable and inspiring. It looked like the decor was an after thought. Even the sign in the shop was just a vinyl print. No black inspired artwork, or anything personal. The bakery items are Costco bought, or definitely purchased somewhere else. I order 3 shots of espresso over ice with some mocha drizzle in the cup & a Carmel latte with oat milk. I got a ice coffee for my drink (because if it was espresso it wouldn’t have looked like a full cup of coffee) I didn’t drink it. It was just bad. I ended up going to another spot to get coffee. My hubby said his coffee tasted like milk with some coffee in it. The thing is coffee is an art form. And having a 16yr make it you’re not going to get the art because they usually don’t even coffee. I won’t return. Nothing stood out at all. Coffee bad. Space lack luster. Music horrible.
