::Very nice store, kind of light on antiques for us, but if you're looking for unique clothing or home decor, you should definitely stop here. Lots of jewelry of all types too. Oh, and they have fudge, awesome fudge! It's worth stopping by just to buy a square.

::For a thursday the place was pretty full, not so full though that we were waiting to be seated for so long that we almost left. After being shown to a table we were greeted by a complimentary bowl of "toasties" which are like big fantastic croutons. We each got the garden club, which was fantastic. My friends got the iced special tea which they loved, I went with it hot which was ok but for a black tea was steeped WAY to long (super strong). We all got the Garden club ($8.95) which was toasty and delicious. The atmosphere is very nice with all of the fairy lights around the room. My major issue was the desserts, I initially ordered the Chocolate rose petal cake which was a slab of cake with reddi whip and a half of a strawberry (reminiscent of family reunions) and tried the Chocolate Meringue Pie (which tasted like instant pudding covered in meringue) each dessert was $3.95. I personally settled on no dessert after tasting the two aforementioned desserts my friends received. After eating we were given 10% off cards for the mercantile. Could have easily made this at home honestly.

::Cute little antique booths with lots of beautiful items plus a fantastic little tea room called the Rose Garden Tearoom. They have excellent house tea made with rose water....thus the name Rose Garden tearoom!

::What a neat place! I love looking at the antiques and also seeing items that were around when i was a kid.

::First off, the place is rather large. Which, is a good thing. It may have just been the day I visited but it seemed a bit short staffed. Also, I meandered around for the best part of an hour and not once did a single individual so much as even say "hello". Now, I actually shun the sales pitch and run light speed away from someone trying to slicker me but, a little friendly "grease" never hurt none. This shop is a hard one to pic down as for just what their main claim to fame would be. True, there were an ample supply of grandma's bear and duck decorations and a good helping of second hand WalMart but there really wasn't anything that grabbed my wallet and screamed "BUY ME!" I will give it another shot I'm sure.
