  This is a great place to get your meat. Beef, lamb, chicken, whole pig for roasts this is THE PLACE! You have to try it. We go on Saturdays and the guys there are terrific, knowledgeable, and friendly. It's a pleasure to go there and get premium cuts of meat because they make it easy .

  You know the drill: You want meat You want lots of red meat Where do you go when you crave slabs of beefy steak? Where do you find yourself asking Siri to take you when you want to eye some pork? Where do you get your sausage fix? Where do you go to get your mind blown by a bratwurst that's a little crooked to the left? Where do you go when you want your marbling to be rich and thorough? THIS IS WHERE YOU GO I mean come on... the name alone should tell you THE MEAT SHOP is where you go when you want to treat yourself like a slab of raw beef/pork/lamb/chicken/goat/kangaroo/sloth... Okay no goat/kangaroo/sloth... but still I say go... and when you do go... Tell em' Large Marge sent ya!

  Not sure what the appeal is with this place. After reading the great reviews I decided to give the Meat Shop a try for a decent brisket when I was looking to smoke one. Called a week ahead of time and was told they would only have 2, both on the small side. Whatever, figured I'd make due. Tried to confirm on the phone that the brisket would still have a good 1/4 fat cap, and whoever answered the phone was completely confused and had to ask someone. Came back and said that's how they package all their briskets. After driving all the way to the place and paying a small fortune for a tiny 7lb brisket, I get home to find a completely trimmed brisket. No fat cap, and a pretty poor piece of meat all around. I can get a better cut of meat from Sam's Club for litterally less than half the price, which isn't exactly stiff competition. First and last time I'll drive out to this place, be sure to take these reviews with a grain of salt.

  I have been here several times, and keep coming back. Don't let the unassuming store front and surroundings keep you from walking into this joy of a business. While the store front area is quite small, you are situated immediately in front of a meat counter with freshly cut offerings, vacuum wrapped for freshness, and you can easily see the workers in back carefully preparing expert cuts. As this is a real working butcher, they do accept requests, but depending on the cut and the type, it may take a day or so to get together. I also routinely pick up some of their homemade sausages (in the freezer to the right as you walk in), and while the French Apple sausage is my favorite kind have enjoyed every one of the ten or so types of sausages they offer. The folks here are helpful and friendly, and offer fresh, quality product at reasonable prices. A real keeper.
