  The owner seemed really nice and is an excellent martial artist with years of experience training under the most famous names in the martial arts including the Gracie Family. It was an honor to learn so much from him. I would recommend this school for martial artists, competitors, and fighters.

  I have trained at the martial arts institute for 9 years and would like to say that this is a great place were you can learn self-defense, train hard, and with its family environment, feel at home.

  My name is Michael Augello I am a student at the Martial Arts Institute. After reading the other reviews I felt compelled to voice the facts. The other 2 reviews couldn't be further from the truth and it's clear they have never trained with Sensei Arango or participated in any way with the school. In 30 years I have never heard anyone say a negative comment about the school or Sensei Arango aside from jealous competitors trying to undermine his success. I would challenge anyone serious about learning the highest quality of Martial Arts to come to the school and see first hand. Make your own assessment. Speak one on one with Sensei Arango and you'll be hooked. There is much to gain aside from self defense like a life time of friends and family with a bond like nothing else.
