::The prices are approx. 40-50% higher than Whole Foods. I am not a very price conscious person and had it been approx. 10% higher I won't have even noticed but this was so outrageous that it was unbelievable and therefore I compared and found them to be 40-50% higher than the same items on Whole Foods in the Prime Now app. What a rip-off! Crazy that it has any customers at all.

::The grocery/deli side seems a bit understaffed. Nothing is reasonably priced in the grocery store. Employees are nice, owner is rude. I ordered a panini out of the deli that I asked to be heated up.. when I bit into it, it was cold in the middle. When I asked why, they said they use a micorwave.. the food is decent but the quality goes down after being microwaved. Iād suggest taking it home and heating it up your self. On top of that, dogs can roam the store so if you like dog hair on your food, this is the place for you.

::A guy came in with a dog while I was eating and the dog was jumping all over people and eating off a plate. I felt uncomfortable and the waitress just offered it cookies. I thought it was a health code violation to have a pet in a food establishment (service animals are trained not to jump all over people and are well behaved) but I am not familiar with sf health code šš¬š·

::Arrived at Happy Hour. Nice food and drinks. Great prices and good service. Nice to walk along Mission Creek too.

::Market Hall is beautiful on the inside. Floor to ceiling windows, concrete floors, and marble counters. But unfortunately it all goes down from there. Go elsewhere! The market was empty in many places. Food areas and cold cases were either turned off, or only half the bins were full. Some of food looked freshly made, but much of the other stuff, including desserts, looked bought. I went up to the huge counter/coffee area in the front and asked for a menu. I was told they were not serving food and that I had to order at the counter. I then stood at the counter for 5 minutes making eye contact with various employees who ignored me. When someone did approach me I had to ask what all the hot good was as nothing was labeled. I ended up getting a sandwich which was cold in the middle and lukewarm on the outside, and some undercooked bland vegetables. I was not offered a bag at checkout. Every other place on the block was busy during the 12-1pm lunch hour, but Market Hall only has about 10% tables full.
