::I can't speak for the entire facility because I only explored the space we used for a networking mixer. It appears to be historic looking inside with lovely views of downtown. The room we used worked perfect for the event. The building has character and I'd definitely would attend a future event here. They have garage parking on Olive St (you could easily pass it if you weren't paying attention) or pay a flat rate of $8 across the street at a lot.

::Great stay at a historic hotel with great decor and amenities at a good price. What could be better? Rooms were adequate, bed was comfortable, complimentary breakfast was top notch. Wish I could have visited the gym and the pool which both looked awesome. Would definitely book again.

::If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around... Went here as a guest from a friend who is a regular member. It's around the same price as an Equinox, but not as new or modern. It still has excellent amenities that make the price worth it. Membership is based on age. Visit their website for more info. The locker rooms are excellent with plenty of lockers and space. There is even a Jacuzzi right in there. There is a full weight area, basketball/volleyball court, pool, yoga classes, and so much more. No excuse why you can't have a good workout here.

::Good location for downtown, but far from anything you might actually want to do or see in Los Angeles. It's a classic hotel with an old Hollywood feel. Breakfast is above average. Views are minimal. Some staff are wonderful such as Ernie and BK, others, sour and unhelpful. Awesome gym facilities (as to be expected)
