::WARNING: HIPSTERS!!! The LINE could use some work. Staff at reception were not trained in customer service. I get that you're bored with your job, just answer questions politely...From there I attempted to get a drink at the bar. The bartenders seem preoccupied, though not with customers, so I headed up to the Commissary & found good service. The room was small, but I appreciated the king size bed & the view. The headboard gave me a bit of the gross factor. Luckily, I didn't have my black light with me. The artwork on the walls--ODD. For example, an alley and a large trash bin aren't what I would suggest for wall decor but no one asked me. And what's with the leaning lamp? Already looks broken just in case! The bathroom was well designed, except for the lack of privacy. If you stay with someone you don't know very well, prepare to share more than you may be comfortable with. And if anyone is in the hall near your door, they can hear you as well.

::We went to the commissary for drinks prior to dinner at the line hotel and the place was great. The ambiance was awesome. Loved the greenhouse vibe. Our bartender was great. She went out of her way to make my wife an off menu cocktail that was less sweet and it tasted great. The food looked good too even though we didn't indulge this time.

::Went to The LINE hotel in LA for a wedding. The LINE hotel is a bit older and has been one of the nice koreatown hotels for a while. However, up on this visit you can notice the wear and tear. Entrance to the lobby led you to walk through a swarm of flies for no apparent reason. Parking is a bit difficult here and so we valet. Parking overnight is $40/vehicle and for visitors $12 for 3hrs with validation. Luckily you can easily get validated at the coffee shop without purchases. The rooms were older and if facing north gave great view of the Hollywood sign and Griffith observatory. Nevertheless, the rooms were small especially with two beds. it was also slightly humid inside. The hallway is concrete to give the hotel a industrial look and feel.

::The rooms are rustic. They have been remodeled. Both restaurants are very nice. Located in a better part of Korea Town. Staff is very nice. The atmosphere is not kid friendly but it is per friendly (go figure). I would stay here again.

::This is a great hotel and one of the more affordable ones in LA. The service is great and everyone is super nice and professional. There's a great happy hour starting at 2:30 at the hotel lobby bar. Drinks are strong and well made. I booked a room with the view of the hills. Let me tell you, it's totally worth the extra charge. The room itself was so well decorated.. Excellent use of space, functional, industrial, and a little quirky. The bed was confortable and the sheets and comforter felt like heaven. Got early check-in and was given late check out after requesting it at no extra charge!
