::Very wide variety of books that are neatly organized and categorized. Vinyl selection is a bit lacking, but large enough to find most popular bands and some hidden gems. Average prices, books and vinyls are in good to almost new condition. Very friendly staff and a relaxing and charming environment. Not too packed on a Saturday afternoon, which is nice, but still buzzing with people browsing and admiring.

::Awesome place to find way more than just books. Looking for a gift there are artists and Craftsmen upstairs and lots of books under five dollars. Downstairs there are new and gently used books sorted into categories. You can find card packs by the register along with cute or plain journals. There is a vintage and collectable book section on the bottom floor. You can find so many different items including comics here. The store is huge. They also sell gift cards for the store if you don't know what to get someone. I love this store!!!

::A vanishing breed, but still a special experience if you love books or just enjoy browsing through the cultural past captured in print. Surprises in every corner of the store, from the old bank vault that houses the oldest tomes to a great flying book sculpture to crochet art. Prices are reasonable, especially by today's book prices and you are guaranteed to find offerings you won't see elsewhere. Don't plan a quick stop as it is hard to leave. Wish there were more stores like this.

::The Last Bookstore truly lives up to it's name. It is truly the bastion of a well curated independent bookstore. If you are visiting LA or have been a long time resident this is a must visit. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The selection is second to none. It's a fantastic place to visit. A word to the wise, parking on the street in front of the store is tow away between the hours of 3 and 7 pm. Plan accordingly.

::A must see if you’re in town. The first floor feels cool and all, but then the upstairs is amazing and it just keeps going and going!! Most of the books that weren’t used were v expensive but the used ones I could find were well priced. A good selection on feminism and history and they even have a rare book annex. Don’t skip the upstairs! It has some awesome stuff and picture moments.
