Can't say enough good things about this place, which is essentially Central State's tap room. It will be one of the spots I really miss when I eventually move away from Indy in a year or two. The city's best butcher/sandwich shop is next door (Goose the Market), and, more importantly, the beer is incredible. I rank Central State in the top 3-4 brewers in the midwest, and there is some STEEP competition. Hell, they may even be my favorite, depending on my mood. Keep in mind, though, that they tend to focus on Brettanomyces-based beers, which can be on the funkier side. In other words, the untrained palate may be in for a shock. They keep a few other guest taps on, but even those tend towards the "weirder" end of the beer spectrum. For a beer nerd like me, this smorgasbord of funky, complex beers is awesome, but to someone new to craft beer, this place might be overwhelming. If you like your beers watery and flavorless (e.g., Budweiser), you may not like this place, but if you have an adventurous beer palate, you will love it. Another plus is that they brew a TON of beers. They have a few flagship ones that are great and are available-year-round, but I'll go in after a 2- or 3- month gap and there will be 10-12 new beers! So, if you like variety, you will never get tired of this place.

Great beer bar. Right next to smoking goose. The Other Half tap takeover was memorable!

Grab a sandwich at Goose the Market, next door, and bring it over and have some well crafted brews! I recommend the RosΓ© and the Bleu!

Great beer selection. While we were there there were there they had a great variety of different beers. They also have beer you can buy directly from them and take away which is nice considering it's a relatively small space and can fill up quickly. There is a butcher nextdoor but other than that there isn't much surrounding it. They do have a parking lot

Best brewery taproom in the city. Generous bartenders and the greatest collection of fine art in the beer world. Grab a sandwich/cheese/meats from the Goose next door, and settle in for an outstanding brew bar experience.
