  The Katonah Program is an individually tailored weight loss and healthy living program that works. As it states, you can lose 10 lbs in 12 weeks, healthfully and with the support of a personal team. After having children I never really got back to my healthiest weight and as I aged it became more and more difficult to lose those extra pounds. I would lose them but slowly they would creep back on. I was intrigued by the holistic approach of the Katonah program which evaluated not only a client’s diet/nutrition knowledge and exercise habits but also any psychological impediments to healthy eating and lifestyle. Each client’s needs are assessed and counsel given for adjustments to existing diets and patterns of eating, exercise, and attitudes about food. Having the regular interaction with professionals to guide you helps you stick to the plan. Now, if I discover I’ve fallen back into old habits, I can quickly resume the strategies that I learned while in the Katonah Program to get back on track.

  Having raised my family, and looking toward retiring, my doctor encouraged me to lose at least 20 pounds in order to lower my risks of heart problems, stroke, diabetes, take pressure off my joints, lower risks of cancers, etc, etc.. I realized that as I got older, my weight crept up with each passing decade, and it became nearly impossible to lose weight. After some months of trying on my own, I joined The Katonah Program with its comprehensive approach to weight loss that is carefully individualized, with highly trained professionals providing tailored support in nutrition and diet, physical fitness, and cognitive behavior. Over the months, I was able to lose my first 10 pounds which was rewarding, but what became even more important to me was knowing so much more about how to live with healthy eating and exercise habits, and really take control of the my own health, on so many levels. I continue to slowly, carefully, lose weight, improve my fitness, have more energy and clarity, as well as enjoy much more confidence in how I look and feel. I highly recommend this program to anyone looking for tailored, comprehensive support in establishing a powerful set of habits for losing weight and enjoying healthy living.

  The Katonah Program is by far the best weight loss program out there! Never have I had such great results ... and I have still been able to keep my pounds off. The whole staff is beyond helpful and the make you feel like family. The approach is so unique as you tackle your eating habits, exercise habits and your mental approach to weight loss. I would highly recommend this program as it is a complete lifestyle change that you will be able to stick to and feel great doing!!
