  Great chicken. Great atmosphere. One of the few non corporate traditional restaurants left.

  My family and I discovered this place by accident and it was a pleasant surprise the staff were friendly made us feel welcomed and the food was outstanding it was a great experience

  The Iron Skillet Restaurant is actually so delicious.The tacos are large and phenomenal. They have this hot sauce that is super spicy and yummy. A nice place.

  This place is a real treasure in the heart of Indianapolis. The ambiance is that of an ecclectic nature. Formal or casual, you will fit in. If you want the best home cooked meal in the state, don't go to Grandma's, go to the Iron Skillet. The food is of the highest quality and the tenderloin is a mouth melting joy to eat.

  Staff is excellent! Biscuits and apple butter excellent. My family of 8 came for the fried chicken rated in the top 3 in the city. Couldn’t finish 2 pieces due to the overwhelming amount of salt, not in the skin but the chicken. My family received 2 plates of chicken initially and to say the least there was quite a few pieces left at the end of the meal. Beer list is absolutely pathetic I realize this is a family restaurant but if your going to offer beer at least have a decent selection. At $20 a person left hungry and disappointed.
