::I found my stay pleasant enough. The rooms are nicely decorated and comfortable. I found the antique décor alluring. The environment is quiet and the staff are personable. Very convenient for conference accommodation in the area.

::This was a really cool place to stay. It is need to check out the architecture of these old houses with your been converted to the hotel. The staff was really friendly. Another bonus is that it is within walking distance of the Detroit Institute of Art.

::This was a beautiful place for members of our extended family to gather before a big anniversary party in Detroit. And while I applaud the effort to maintain and showcase these historic homes, it seems like some modern improvements would go a long way towards improving the sleeping experience (which is all we really need hotels for right?). The walls/floors in these homes must be original, because you can hear EVERYTHING going on around you - from the child running back and forth and back and forth above you, to the guests arriving in the parking lot alllllllll night long, to the front door slamming as those thoughtless people head to their rooms at 2am, to the constant waterfall of toilets flushing from the third floor on down. Just remember these houses were built in the late 1800s...and maybe choose a room on the TOP floor, and you’ll be OK.

::Amazing historical homes converted into guest rooms. Very comfortable and homey feel to the rooms. The shuttle service is stellar and free for guests. We will definitely be staying here again.

::Beautifully restored turn of the century houses. Our room was large with large bathroom and separate little desk/coffee area. This is a B&B with an excellent breakfast served until 11 am. Two things: no fridge/microwave in room and this isn't a place for folks who have difficulty with stairs as there are no elevators. So ask for 1st floor rooms. Well worth the stay!
