::I love The Hay Merchant. On a quick trip back to Houston I stopped in for dinner. The Underbelly menu items were delicious as always and I branched out to try the Philly Cheese Steak egg rolls, not my thing but I can see that others may like them.

::Great beer selection. If I counted correctly, they've got 84 beers on tap. Try the wings. The PB&J wings are actually pretty good. Also, try their Tres Leches Bread Pudding on their dessert menu. Amazing! Chill staff.

::The MERCH! One of the better craft beer selections in the city. The staff knows their beers which is always refreshing. Great menu with some slightly different items, but everything is very tasty. Don't forget the pinball machines and nice outdoor patio.

::My favorite place in Houston. Staggering selection of beer and cocktails on tap as well as some of the best food you'll find in town. Highly recommend the silver platter nachos (they pickle the jalapenos in house) or the PB&J wings. For the quality of food you get here, the prices are very fair. Their burgers are also terrific. If you're looking to impress your parents or friends from out of town, come to this place. The scene is pretty diverse too, from hipsters to professionals, everyone is welcome.
