::Lots of old pictures and lots to read. Not crowded and it's free. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

::While the concept is interesting in theory, in execution it's quite lacking. As some reviews before mine have noted, the frequent rotation of exhibits makes it hard for the significance to really register with visitors. In fact, the cultural aspect of textiles isn't something you really want to be rotating that much to begin with as it's a niche field that few people know much about. The presentation and layout of certain exhibits also aren't very engaging. The building and staff are nice enough though.

::Precious art gallery... A very nice Asian art collection... A nice place to spend a couple of hours

::Great museum...a nice layout in a very cool building. They also have talks and events throughout the year which are good to go to as well. Always something interesting here and a good place to visit when you want something a bit out of the mainstream. Located on the GW campus and close to the National Mall.

::The textile museum rotates it's exhibition every few months. I feel the selection is too varied for visitors to get a good understanding of what they're trying to show. It'll be much better if the exhibits can be narrowed down to a particular region. There's a nice little gift shop on the ground floor selling cute items.
