  Dissappointed. Sunday afternoon, this was the only non-franchise bakery / donut shop open for 20 miles. I ordered a donut and a brownie. The donuts here are fairly small. The shop didn't have utensils or napkins (store clerk seem surprised by me asking). I requested to have both warmed, the store clerk placed them in a "oven" for perhaps 1 minute. I paid and proceeded to enjoy my deserts as I realized both were room temperature. The donut tasted like flour (must use a different baking technique). The brownie tasted dry....

  Gateau Baking Company is my favorite bakery in town. Their customer service, presentation, and quality is unsurpassed. I would suggest Gateau to anyone!

  Looking for light, fluffy cupcakes paired with icing so good you could eat it by itself?!! Well this is NOT the place to go!!!! I got a chocolate chip cookie dough cupcake that was RAW, i should have known by how dense it was, not to mention it tasted like raw flour!! That was my very first and LAST time ever going to that "bakery"

  Ordered 2 cupcakes. The vanilla was very dry and grainy. The icing was not sweet and very greasy like there was little to no sugar.

  Great selection of baked goods, including multiple vegan options, which happen to be just as good as as the non-vegan ones.
