::Nice pub during the day. I returned this evening. Band was playing. I have worked and drank in 38 states and 16 countries. Ths band tonight is the worst band I have ever heard in my life. If I'd had two grand in my pocket I'd have given it to them to send them home to save the staff. It sounded like a cat being strangled.

::I'm pretty sure I've ended up here every time I've gone to San Diego, and for good reasons. The food is excellent (and actually "Irish" rather than "American pub food"), especially the boxty, which makes a fantastic brunch if you're up earlier. Great whiskey selection if you're up a little later. Adorable and cozy decor, pleasant ambiance with a second story overlooking the street well suited to larger groups. Fast, attentive service even if you're up on that second floor. What's not to love?

::Best Irish pub in town! Great live music at night. Excellent food and good beer selection. Hotspot in the heart of the Gaslamp! For awesome service, Ashley is the best waitress, hands down!! We love you Ashley!!!

::If you love old Irish atmosphere and really good Irish food - this bar has old wood from pubs in Ireland. It has great food. Family friendly. We had the Shepherd's Pie and it was delicious.

::I had the chicken boxty which I have never had before but the waitress recommended it. It was amazing! Followed by a spectacular bread pudding desert. Everyone in my group really enjoyed their meal. Summer was our waitress. She was fantastic and I highly recommend asking for her.
