  My dad lived there for a while and he was happy there. It is a warm environment Unfortunately, he was hospitalized and his room was robbed. His passport and wallet was taken and G-d knows what else. I contacted the manager when I received my dad's phone bill with calls made to the Dominican Republic, made while my dad was in the hospital. Manager said he'd "get to the bottom of it" and told me he'd call back. Surprise! He didn't. Coward. As long as your loved one is well, you are ok, but if someone goes to the hospital, high tail it down there or their belongings will go "missing".

  The living conditions are nice and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. The staff is nice and caring.

  I recently toured the Esplanade at Palisades with my Mom. We joined the community for lunch in their elegant dining room and enjoyed a sumptuous meal which was beautifully prepared and presented. The residents were welcoming and the staff was so warm and friendly. The whole atmosphere was extremely pleasant and congenial. Mom had a very positive feeling when we departed and is looking forward to joining this happy and caring community. A.G.
