Its a great spot to grab a bite. Comfortable and family oriented. It was very peaceful compared to some of the other loud restaurants we were trying to get away from. Their menu very simple but surprisingly the food was very delicious. My family had a great time and the staff was ver attentive.

At 12:50, on a Monday, there were only four other people in the restaurant. Had the buffet at $14.95. Salad bar was fresh and everything was topped up nicely. The dishes included basmati (I think) rice, pot stickers, Mongolian Beef [I liked it, but it tasted like normal pot roast sliced to appear Mongolian. Nothing Mongolian about it], Kung Pao Chicken [again, chicken, but neither Kung nor Pao], white bean and pork soup [good, no complaints]. Scoring: 3 seems a bit harsh, but a 4 would be misleading. I would prefer to give a 3.5. Summary: Five Stars for cleanliness and service. As well as for food freshness, texture and presentation, and the salad bar as a whole. Two Stars for entrée flavors being completely off style.

This restaurant is located in Holiday Inn Capital Plaze. This was my first time ever eating at this restaurant. After being seated I was served my sweet raspberry tea. Service was quick and I place my order fast. The next thing I received was my soup (creamy tomato). Besides the service being good, the rest of my experience was terrible. My entrée was awful. Salmon with mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables and I added a side of rice pilaf. The salmon was edible; however it came wrapped in parchment paper, so by the time I dug out the meat I only got three small bites. The rice pilaf was no were closed to being fully cooked. The steamed vegetables and mashed potatoes had absolutely no flavor. The only good things I can say are the soup, tea and service were good.

Pro - It's inside the Holiday Inn and near the Amtrak station and the museum. I got the buffet option and the food taste good. :) Con - It have a decent selection of food to choose from but I wish they had more varieties and more food. Overall - if you on the go and need something quick to eat, I recommend this place.
