::We enjoy Tea at The Courtyard Restaurant at the BPL emmensely. The room itself bears an understated elegance and the service staff are demure hospitality ninjas. They work together as a whole to provide seemless service. My family and its future generations will continue to enjoy Tea at the BPL's Courtyard restaurant as long as they'll have us.

::Absolutely love this place. Very well priced for afternoon tea and the food is delicious! I never understood why people like macaroons until I came here. A laid back atmosphere where you can dress up or down and not feel out of place. Friendly staff, just don't call for reservations. It totally hit or miss. Use open table. Oh! They are also extremely accommodating with food allergies or aversions.

::3/1/2014 One of a kind dining experience only in Boston! I came here for their afternoon tea to treat my mother who was visiting Boston. (Afternoon tea $32 is served after their lunch hours from 2:30pm.) Everything from location, interior design, service to food was excellent! Really high ceilings beautifully overlooking the BPL courtyard with plenty of sunlight. I very much enjoyed my jasmine tea and my mother, her chamomile tea. Their scones and jam are absolutely delicious. I particularly enjoyed the rich bacon sandwich (I overheard the table next to us asking if it was possible to get only that sandwich for their next visit and the server responded yes, as long as they call in advance and let them know.) Even though my mother and I hadn't had lunch, there was so much food we had some of our cookies boxed up. TIP: Would not recommend for kids -- this cafe is very high-end and peacefully quiet. Let's respect it that way :)

::My friend and I went for high tea on a weekend afternoon. The dining room is cozy, yet has high, vaulted ceilings. The tables are close to each other, but it doesn't feel crowded. The savory offerings were delicious, but seemed a bit scant for $39.00. the scones were nice but the desserts were unimaginative and unimpressive---with the exception of the dark chocolate cake. Nice experience, probably would not return unless I heard the menu had been retooled.

::Loved this place! Great atmosphere, very picturesque; worth getting dressed up for. You get a personal teapot along with finger sandwiches, desserts, scones and jams for $39 a person. The servers were extremely nice. Very short walk from the Copley T stop. I wouldn't suggest driving there, limited street parking. I'll definitely be going back.
