  tiny, gross, has a smell. they have 0 sympathy and they do not care about their renters, only about money. and boy, do they love to steal it! stole a good 4k from me. good riddance to miss Alma at management too. theres a reason she doesnt do credit checks and gets away with it. they add it up to screw you over in the end.

  The location of the apartment building is great, but I do not recommend renting from this company. If you do, please get everything that you are told in writing. There have been multiple miscommunications with the manager and assistant manager that has been quite costly. Something will be explained and when you bring up what you were told later, they will deny making previous statements and then ask for proof— leaving you to say you were only verbally told. I moved into this apartment complex after driving 2500 miles across the country. I was told by an employee the apartment was furnished with utilities provided. When I arrived, I was having difficulty getting a response from this person and the apartment was unaware of my situation. I was then informed the statements previously made were untrue and given an option of having no place to live or paying $400 extra for an apartment. Additionally, I requested a copy of my lease multiple times and did not receive until my move out date. I had been told “we will be charging a $100 cleaning fee” deducted from your security deposit during the move in process. However, during the walk through for move out we were told there is an additional $95 carpet cleaning fee despite no damages beyond wear and tear. When we finally received the lease it stated no where these fees were mandatory and that we had an option of cleaning the apartment ourselves. The security deposit listed as fully refundable. In summary, if you choose to rent here be careful. Receive everything in writing and read the lease carefully upon signing.

  Josh is one of the best building managers I have had as a tenant, and that is saying a lot because I used to be the manager for my last facility as well. Very well kept, the staff is extremely friendly, and I love the location. Fantastic place to live.

  Visited The Cornelius with friends and was helped by a couple of very friendly and happy people. Josh and Michelle were wonderful! We've been hunting for apartments in Seattle and they were some of the few that showed genuine interest in our search for a new home. We're hoping to get an apartment. Hoping not to miss the winter deals!

  If I was still living in Seattle, I would never move from the Cornelius. They are so friendly and would do anything for their tenants. If there's any problem with your apartment they are speedy and courteous to fix it. The apartment complex is central to downtown but far enough away to be out of the tourist area.
