::This is such a cool space for modern art. The building is a stark white cube in the middle of downtown, but the interior lobby is all curves and a mixture of materials without many straight edges that reminds me of being inside an ant gallery--but not gross. They have a very cool permanent collection of modern art and a large space for their temporary collections. I feel The Broad has art that would interest almost anyone of any age and it is small enough that you can walk the entire building in less than a couple of hours. We went on a Saturday and had no problem with parking, which we found across the street for $10.

::I drove up to LA to visit my friend and had a blast going to the broad. It's really nice that the museum is free. The line to get in was pretty long, but it moved pretty quickly and once we got in I felt it was worth the wait. I think nearly anyone would enjoy the art that was on exhibit and to the best of my knowledge it changes from time to time. If you are in town and looking for something fun and free to do, this is definitely a good option.

::The architecture is fancy and new. Assistants are very friendly and helpful. Other than the parking fee, it is largely free. While most exhibits are fun to look at, they are not my cup of tea. I would prefer more classical ones. Reservation is a must, especially for groups. We could not get in the light show. Parking structure attendants were not very helpful. Better signs and instructions are needed.

::Excellent modern art museum. General admission is free but ticketed via their website (you need to book a specific entry time). There is a charge for special exhibitions (and those tickets also include general admission). We came to see the Jasper Johns exhibition, which was brilliantly put together. The architecture of the building itself is nice, and the museum has a good store. Convenient (paid) underground parking.

::Great space they've created here. Fun unexpected features like a window into the archival storage room in the stairway. Simple and easy to enter with prepaid tickets for Jasper Johns. Had to start there, couldn't enter museum earlier than exhibit tickets, but had the rest of the evening to explore the rest of the collection. We were there 2.5 hrs total, didn't rush feel that we saw everything. LOVED the Audio App! What a great free bonus! Does eat up at lot of battery life though so come fully charged.
