  I contacted this service to inquire about getting rid of some wasps that were entering my home through the siding of my house. They told me that they would be applying "DUST" to the bee hive. I decided to do some research on the Bee Shepherds and contacted the NEW York State Department of Environmental Conservation in Albany. I was told that this is ILLEGAL, because the Bee Shepherds are an UNLICENSED & UNINSURED pest control service. BEWARE -You always get what you pay for. The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation Police are on these guy's tails. They operate under several company names, including "The Bee Shepherds Bee Removal", "Adkins Bee Removal" and "NY Bee Removal", none of which are licensed, or insured.

  I called these guys for a quote on a wasp nest extermination. I had yellow - jackets entering my home from a soffit. They told me that they would need to cut a hole in the ceiling of the master bedroom and vacuum them out. They also said that I would need to get someone to fix the hole that they would make. I called several other pest control services and they all said that this was not necessary to do for a wasp nest. This is only done when honey bees inhabit your home, according to Orkin Pest Control. The other pest control services said that they could apply some chemicals and the problem would be resolved, without cutting apart my house. Upon further research, I learned that the Bee Shepherds is not licensed, and insured. Why would l let someone who has no insurance come into my home and start cutting open walls and ceilings ? What if they hit an electrical wire and get hurt, or start a fire ? I'm no fool, that is why I always check on licensing and insurance. I don't hire the guys standing in the Home Depot parking lot and I definitely wouldn't hire these guys. I used Orkin Pest Control and my problem was promptly resolved.

  For some reason wasps seem to love my house and I have used this father/son team to handle countless nests over the years. With a son who passed from cancer, I am extremely concerned about the use of pesticides to protect my surviving son. Not only do these guys identify where the nests have been right away, but they safely and effectively remove them without the potential harm to my son. Beyond that, they are the most caring, warm, spiritual and beautiful guys. There should be more people out there like them. Don't look any further for your bee and wasp removal needs!

  They are amazing- so knowledgable in all species of bees and how to deal with them appropriately, ethically and most of all efficiently! I was so pleased with their service, price and the good results.

  These guys know what they're doing! We had two nests and Mike explained what was going on and what he was going to do. The underground nest was guaranteed! Our second nest was in our vinyl siding and Mike said the dusting had about a 95% chance of working and might take up to 10 days. Mike explained my options if the dusting didn't work, but after 2 days those sucks were gone completely! I would defiantly call the bee shepherds bee removal again and you should too!
