::What a great place! After speaking with the owner, we were let in on a great secret to the menu, it changes as needed, so fresh fare all the time! A comfortable relaxed atmosphere. We ordered the clams (that can be ordered by amount, 1/2 dozen or a dozen, they were a generous size), edamame, southwest chicken and NY strip, just amazing and perfectly cooked! Bread pudding and cannolis for dessert, a perfect ending to a great meal! Wine choice was perfect as well, a Riesling that was perfect on the pallet. I give the restaurant $$$ for cost and 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 for great taste! Congratulations to the owner, don’t change a thing!

::Interesting menu, very polite service. I would have preferred that the music selections reflect the ages of the patrons and not the servers, it was decided loud and far from relaxing, more suitable for a night time party crowd and not a quiet brunch

::Unfortunately we did not have a great experience at all. We were looking for a place to accommodate a party of 10 and when we found The Beacon Hotel ready immediately, we thought we scored. It was Sunday, brunch time. Everything else was packed, but there was hardly anyone there. Now we know why. Our party all arrived at different times, but all present by noon. My three nieces food was ordered first. They are young and needed to eat soon which was told to the server. The food all came out at different times and at all different qualities. One of my nieces food didn't arrive untill an hour after it was ordered even though hers was one of the first placed. I had food missing from my order, my husband's burger was burnt so bad he couldn't eat it, it had cheese which he requested no cheese. My niece was missing food, food came out cold, there was no toilet paper in the bathroom, and the toilet didn't flush. My mother complained to the server about us not getting our orders and the food having multiple mistakes. He apologized but did nothing. My mother got the assistant to the manager and told her everything that had gone wrong with to order over the hour and a half we were there, and that she expected to be compensated. The assistant manager said she'd speak with the kitchen and see what they could do. Instead a cheesecake was brought out, free of charge, for my sister's birthday. Which she didn't want and was partially eaten by the kids. When the check came out it was still wrong and took forever. They took off the food that never came out, or was not eaten, but a 20% gratuity was still included in the total. Which we were not going to give considering the entire meal was messed up. We left paying the bill minus the gratuity. It's a very nice looking place but the customer service, food and bathrooms were sub par.
