::Very professional teachers and staff at the front desk are always smiley. I have been to a few barre studios now and teachers at The Bar Method is by far the most ‘specific’ in terms of instruction, giving the most helpful correction to your postures so that you get the most out of the moves. I only took one star off due to the relatively old studio compared to the new ones out there. But the class and teachers are the most important after all!

::I hate exercising, but I love Bar Method! I have been doing the Bar Method for almost 3 years now and it has reshaped my body and increased my overall strength. I never liked aerobics classes, which required too much coordination for me :-) The instructors (and all employees) at Bar Method SoHo are awesome...friendly, gently helpful and always encouraging. My routine: Bar Method twice a week and (slow) running 2-4 days a week.

::I love that the instructors all have a consistent approach to sculpting our bodies and that they explain how each of the exercises benefit us! It's also very impressive that they take the time to learn our names and correct our form during the exercises to ensure we achieve the maximum benefits while preventing injury.

::I started going to The Bar Method about six months ago--one month before my wedding to tone before the big day. Suffice to say, I've loved the studio and I've loved the work-out. Ladies and gents, this is tough stuff; and, I can honestly say it's the toughest work-out I've ever done. It doesn't get easier; but ya know what? I am getting into the best shape of my life. What more can you ask for?! Amy, the owner, and all instructors and staff go out of their way to get to know their clients, too. I have never gone to a group fitness class where instructors not only remember my name; but, give personalized coaching and feedback. This is a top of the line workout at a top of the line studio with top of the line instructors!

::I joined with the goal of giving it 6 months to see what kind of difference I can make to the shape of my body. I apparently only needed to give it about 6 days! Within the first week, I noticed a change in muscles & posture. I'm getting definition in places no other exercise regime gave me. My limbs look longer & leaner and I'm actually developing ab muscles! Because the results are so immediate & positive, I'm motivated like never before. I'm a fan for life.
