  All they care about is your money, they wont pick up your calls even if there in! I watched a lady blatantly ignore my call through her window! The school will only contact you if you owe them money. The teachers tell you to work at home because all of our old equipment that I pay 130,000$ dollars for cant even run our programs ( struggling with photoshop) I myself got a student signed petition for new equipment and then talked to the president of our school, and all they did was update windows. Unless they treat you better then me DO NOT GO HERE all they are doing is putting me into debt without giving me the industry standards.

  It made it very clear when I left this school on 12/14/2017 that I would not be back for classes starting on 01/08/2018 as I had to move to Kansas because my husband was on military orders. I just looked at the portal and I was enrolled in classes starting on 01/08/2018 that I wasnt even aware of because guess what? I DIDNT ENROLL IN THOSE COURSES... this school is clearly very money hungry and took money from my GI Bill. Stay away if I have any advice for people considering this school as an option. I will leave this as a one star review until this very huge issue is resolved and then I might consider upgrading to two stars.

  I am almost finished with a Bachelors degree in Game Art and Design. While I have met some seriously fantastic students and faculty that have helped me break into learning the ground level of game design and asset creation, I would not recommend this school. The company that owns this school has recently made changes and staff cuts that have left students uneasy and some classes completely untaught at times. They have a high acceptance rate but with a large tuition cost that realistically wont necessarily prepare you for a job in this industry. You may be able to graduate and obtain a degree but that doesn't guarantee that your work is strong enough to land you a position outside of school. If you're serious about game art/design and want to challenge yourself to create game-ready assets, I wouldn't choose the Art Institute of Seattle. I am currently looking at cheaper and more successful online alternatives like Gnomon for myself after obtaining my degree, maybe look in to those!
