  3 stars I think is being generous based on my last visit , which was about 8 months ago. I can't bring myself to go back. As much as I would like to support a local business. I ordered a burger w/ fries. Easy! Waited 20 mins nothing. Even the bright cashier asked me twice if she could help me. Both times I said I'm waiting for my order. Finally she went inside the kitchen to see what the hold up was. 20 mins! No exaggeration. As she opens the door I hear the guy say " I put in next to the register. It had been sitting for god knows how long. I take it. Go home to eat open it up and the freakin thing is rare as rare can be. Now I did ask for it to be medium rare as I always have a burger but this thing wasn't on the grill for more than a few minuets. You could still form a ball with it. Thats how rare the meat was. I ended up cooking it myself. The fries I tossed. They were soggy as hell. So really they rate a one star but I gave 1 to me for the cooking of the meat! Sorry never again will I go there.

  Delicious cheese steak sub. Everyone was friendly. It is owned by a local.

  The staff and Owner Joe are one in a million. The food is great you can order anything you can think of and if he has the means to make it it will be made. You never wait too long. Joe treats everyone like family and knows most everyone by their first name. Ohh and that sweat tea 👍👌

  The food at Thayer's Gate Deli & Cafe was fantastic! I went went a semi-large group of co-workers and there was a long table available for us all to sit together in the back of the restaurant. They had something for everyone on the menu - I was looking for something more vegetarian, which they had. I got the eggplant and red pepper sandwich and it was awesome. They did a fantastic job with the flavor combinations and the sandwich was large. You can order your sandwich on a roll or a sub - I chose the roll and it was large. The food was prepared quickly and they bring it out to your table (even though you order individually at the counter). The restaurant was very clean and it was a great lunch experience!

  Ordered to go, quick service. All utensils and napkins packed in bag for us. The veggie sub was loaded and tasty, like italian seasonings and I loved the spicy mustard they used. My sister got the italian sub and said it was really good as well. Great deli to hit up.and grab a bite.
