::The staff at Texas Terrace is among the best in the business. They made sure my needs were attended to with the utmost respect. They encouraged me through physical therapy which goes a long way. With my great experience I am now choosing to do my outpatient physical therapy at Texas Terrace as well. Thank you so much to the entire staff for all you do.

::My Mother recently was sent to this facility for rehab after a hospital stay for an infection, I visited her every other day while there. She was not even there one week and while at a Dr. appt. someone stole over $400 from her wallet which she had locked in a dresser drawer. The police were actually already at the facility tending to another issue when she discovered this so she was able to file a report immediately. Unfortunately my Mother was told that it is HIGHLY unlikely she will ever see any of her money back. I asked the nursing home if they had any cameras in the hallways and was told they do not. My Mother's room was the last room at the end of a hallway, so if cameras had been present they would surely have seen who the thief was. Very disappointed to say the least that this kind of thing happens to vulnerable people who have very little to begin with.

::Pros: Kind management Good rehabilitation facilities Located in a fairly quiet area of St. Louis Park Cons: So-so staff So-so rooms So-so amenities Too many loud televisions Comment: This is not a good place if your loved one is suffering from too advanced a malady. My mother was admitted here after suffering two strokes which left her partially paralyzed and unable to speak. Management and staff did their best, but mom was too weakened to respond to rehabilitation treatment. Worse, she fell out of bed and hit her head a couple times, hurting herself so bad the second time, she had to be hospitalized due to a brain bleed. The staff seems stretched thin throughout Texas Terrace, meaning residents are not as checked as often as they should be, at least the more vulnerable ones like my mom was. I would strongly recommend other care homes for your loved one if he/she is as vulnerable as my mother was before she died at Texas Terrace.
