  I've been coming to Tx Oncology SW for five years. I have a rare blood cancer that most oncologist will never treat in their career. Dr. Barrera (and Mark) had not only treated two cases prior to me, they came up with a solid plan of action (previous Dr said "get your affairs in order") to keep me alive. So here's what I can tell you. First, most importantly, is I'm alive 7 years later. You won't find a better place or team of dedicated, incredible and kind Dr's and nurses. These are the exact people you want fighting with you, for you and by your side every step of the way. My team at SW has seen me at my very worst, and they universally acknowledge my sometimes futile attempts to look like I at least made an effort! I do that for them because its important that they know what a profound difference they make in my life on this journey. They step out in faith right along with me. They love me. They care for my well being and are truly gifted,smart, focused, a little crazy and always manage to put a smile on my face. Even on those days when it's the last thing I want to do. They are such a rare incredible team, I simply cannot imagine a world where this kind of good doesn't exist. It's not just about the science of cancer or the the treatment of the cancer. Its also about surviving and most importantly LIVING with it or through it. SW not only gives me access to every a available resource, they go out of their way for me. I'm grateful and blessed to be here. Blessed to have this incredible team. Blessed to not be walking this journey alone.

  It's a great facility, and convinian to the hospital! We're very happy with the doctors and nurses, so kind, smiling and been sweet every time!!!
