  The doctor I saw for a hematology issue several months ago was nice. However, the staff was horrible. I was subsequently referred by my primary for an oncology issue & a different doctor was who my primary used. First took 3 calls to talk to anyone after leaving messages on the new client voice mail. Then took 4 more days for there to schedule an appointment. From the get go told them had seen the one doctor before. An appointment was set out 16 days later. The night before my appointment this staff person whom I was dealing w/ called & told me had to see Droc I had seen months before. I was extremely upset understandably since I had asked from the get go. They cancelled my appointment and told me an additional 13 days. The next day, day of initial appointment, I got my primary involved. An appointment was set between the doctors for the follliving morning. Once I confirmed I would have a drive I let them know & was told if was an issue would let me know. I heard nothing the rest of that day from this new staff person. It was later that afternoon confirmed by my primary doctor of this appointment. I attempted to call the next morning regarding confirmation & nothing. When I arrived for my appoointment I was told I didn't have one by a nurse manager & the person the day before who confirmed appointment. They refused to confirm w/ the doctor that was worked out w/ my primary & the doctor. Told me would have to be the additional, now 12 days for an appointment. No compassion for someone referred to an oncologist. No concern of the stress of the situation. No concern of aggrement between doctors. The second staff person looked straight at me & told me I was a liar about the confirmarion of the appointment set for the second day set by the doctors. The initial person had a very flat monotone voice like "I just don't care" and/or "I hate my job" attitude. Didn't care about anything ... and not only person w/ this opinion of her as hughave talked to others.

  I have dealt with several of the Doctors here, the main one being Dr. Gill. They all have different styles and pesonalities but they all were straight with me and had the same mission. Dr. Gill never sugar coated the outlook or gave me false hope. The staff in Bedford and Keller have been nothing but nice. Cancer patients should be the first to know to cut someone some slack, you never know what that other person is going through. I too would have my family members see Dr. Gill if they were going through the same thing. I am luckily in remission through Dr. Gills care and glad that he has other patients he needs to tend to more than me.

  Great Doctors - Dr. Anderson's nurses are the best!

  I think it's odd that they would have a STAR Employee merit sign in the lobby when your signing in at the front desk. The receptionists there are not personable, I wonder sometimes if it's just that they see patients day in and day out that they're numb to the affect of cancer. Just off the phone with a gal name Holly, before I could finish talking she was asking the next question ... which I had already answered if she was listening to me. I am glad though that my oncologist is great and so are his assistants.
