I’ve been coming to this place my whole life because of being the youngest in the family... I think I finally cracked on how to survive here. ***It’s not necessary to make an appointment OR check in online*** First off, it’s your typical DMV. Majority of the employees are old, grouchy women who have to work because they don’t have a retirement, so they’re pretty cold. Number One, Kill them with kindness... it truly helps. The only way to survive this place in one trip is to be there at 7am so you’ll be in and out within 30 minutes, depending what you’re there for, when it opens. Number Two, bring EVERY SINGLE DOCUMENT YOU WITHOLD AND EVERY FORM OF PAYMENT YOU GOT!!! They won’t take cash over a $20 and sometimes won’t take cash at all, they won’t take a debit or credit card that doesn’t have your name on it.... these people really jerk you around. Be prepared for a stressful process if you come later and/or unprepared.

Let me provide you with good advice; plan ahead. Go online and check to see what documents you need; then set your appointment and it will provide you a time to arrive. This way you will have a much shorter wait and not have to come back again. Be sure to eat something especially, if you take medication bc you may have a long wait as I had to endure. They did have a check-in person; but with a 3 hour wait. Whoa hold that pony... This girl needs food I took a quick walk to the nearest eatery and returned to a short wait! The ladies who helped me deserved a hug they deserve 5 stars for all their hard work; they took care of what I needed assistance with and I was out. Goodbye peoples! 😁 Update: I get lots of ?'s but people make sure you have what you need bc it took my neighbor 2 days..relocating make sure you eat before you wait nothing allowed. .. Y💜✌😎

These people don’t care if you die while you’re waiting. They help one person and then ignore you while they have lengthy personal conversations. Then they treat you like they’re doing you a favor. The woman who did my sons driving test was so rude to the both of us before he even got started that he was twice as nervous to take the test than he already was. When I called her out for being rude, she failed my son. He’s a better driver than the rest of us. Don’t go to this location if you have a choice. Brentwood Stair is so much better. UPDATE: Took the driver's test 2 days later at a different location and passed it by a landslide. Went to Brentwood Stair. Even though we still had to wait a bit, they were professional and courteous.

If I could rate our experience here a 0, I would. The wait was atrocious and totally unacceptable and by the time we waited 3 and a half hours to be finally be helped, the person helping us was ruder than rude itself. You signed up for this job lady. You knew you were going to be dealing with the public. If you don’t like working with people or people annoy you or you can’t even stand when someone is generally just being nice to you, then go work somewhere ALONE!

It’s average. I mean, it’s the DPS, government, what can you expect? I understand sometimes you might actually have GREAT government agencies or places of work, and you might have that “one person” somewhere or that “one government spot with an amazing crew” but eh. There’s been a few people here who were pretty awesome over the several times of me coming here, I’ll give you that much. There were definitely times where I had a good experience with at least one person if not overall, but still. “Eh”
