  I had my bar mitzvah here in 2002. Really amazing memories, it's a shul and a school.. learn Hebrew, join in holidays and ceremonies like Sukkot, Pesach, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, and Hanukkah. For instance, one year for Sukkot, we had the chance to interact with our teachers and experience close to what our people went through after the exodus from Egypt. Had the chance to build our own sukkah, weaved the top with the leaves, ate the citron fruit. Great memories..I haven't practiced in a very long time and I don't know if they still practice that tradition..

  There is only one way to be Jewish.. pls stop the reform movement who try to create somthing that have no conection to the Jewish ppl

  This is the craziest place I was shunned from this club for looking at woman & watching shows about fashion I was called a homosexual for liking woman are they still tell children that they are poisoning them? Do you still turn off Children’s microphones at there bar mitzvah to show them that they do not belong? Are you still shunning children for 20 years or more ?but if you need rock solid accomplices this could be the temple for you they will help you straight up erase a child I could go on but if you care about your children watch them around this community I would also like to share that I spoke to an unidentifiable person who taunted me buy saying that US disabled veterans are cowards or as they put it yellow a community of anti US sentiment

  Reform as it gets in the heart of Beverly Hills. Great music and services with some amazing rabbis and cantor. Join them for a Shabbat service or many of the open services.

  Temple Emanuel in Beverly Hills is one of the most welcoming & caring Synagogue communities I have ever attended services at. Each Rabbi brings something different to the services and the Cantor has a truly superlative voice! The services are varied, some rock others are more contemplative. Shabbat Unplugged is quite spectacular - wonderful music and also spiritual. If you are looking for a community to join you have to come to one of the services to see for yourself. I personally love their social justice activities - this was one of the reasons I joined.
