  This is an interesting place to visit if one is interested in history, with emphasis on the Civil War. There is a theatre located to the side of the gift shop where a short film is shown, on how brave Texas patriots entered the war. There is so much to see, 2 hours being a minimum amount of time. Also the gift shop has many items, my husband purchased a beautiful music box for me. Being new to the Ft. Worth area this was our first visit to the museum. We were very impressed with all the artifacts. A sense of honor, pride, and sorrow, was felt within us both.

  Lots of good stuff. The movie at the entrance was a real treat! From historical perspective very good place to visit and not terribly expensive.

  Super friendly staff. It was a nice family outing. The kids liked the military drill.
