::Tfcu is a great credit union for everyday banking. They have branches all over the island and they don't overcharge on fees. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because you better not need anything from the call center. There's a minimum of 10 minute wait time no matter when you call and nothing ever gets resolved. They don't call you back and they are not very knowledgeable.

::The assistant manager jessica was an absolute treat. Super professional, very personable, A fundamentally good person. I will come back to this branch just to work with her and would highly recommend this branch to anybody looking to open up an account, get a loan, or even receive a line of credit.

::The communication within this bank is incredibly terrible. The supervisor at the hauppauge location is very unprofessional & was ready to argue as soon as I spoke to her. Not solution-oriented.

::Faxed in a specific notification to stop an auto payment on my personal acct. as per their request and not only did they stop that payment, but also an inbound lease payment on my business acct.. Spent over an hour with multiple calls while on vacation with a rep who assured me that it would be set up again and a week later checked and nothing was done. After another hour+ on the phone it was finally handled. Blows my mind how they could be so irresponsible and careless. A call center supervisor (Bonnie) left me a message at my request because I wanted to speak to someone about it. I called back and left a message which she hasn’t returned in 2 weeks and I couldn’t even leave another since her voicemail doesn’t pick up anymore. Thoroughly unprofessional

::Absolutely horrid and unacceptable experience. Held my funds hostage for over two weeks with zero communication, then closed my account for absolutely zero reason (I couldn't even access the account during the short time it was opened). Terrible customer service, shady policies, and refusal to honor terms of my account opening...run don't walk. EDIT: As you can probably tell from their response, Teachers did reply to my email. They said a mandatory video call(???) would be required to (re?)open my account that was randomly closed. Phone call? Email? Letter? Nope. I have to do a video chat with a bank to correct what should have never happened in the first place. Why should I be forced to take time out of my day to solve a problem that they created?
