::Great store and very helpful people!! We were half a day in Denver last year, and found this beautiful bookstore with a great collection and cozy atmosphere. At midnight in the hotel I realized that I had lost my phone there. Next day I called them, they were very attentive and sent the phone to LA without extra charges. Thanks for the books and service, Tattered Cover!

::This place is fantastic! The selection is vast and varied. I could wander this place for hours. They have everything set up nicely, making it easy to browse and find your next favorite book. Their staff recommendations are great. They have a small cafe and tons of reading nooks.

::This bookstore has a great selection. There's a cafe as well. This location gets lots of traffic so it's not the best if you're looking to browse leisurely and discover new treasures. There are places to sit and read but they can be a little hard to come by. Staff is helpful but busy.

::Really nice environment, interesting setup/layout, but the prices are high for a bookstore of this caliber. On top of that, the company supports what is essentially deporting Denver's homeless population to other states. There are so many bookstores and specialty shops around that there is no reason for a local to shop at this supergiant. This is pretty much a tourist trap for all those arriving at Union station.

::I end up visiting this spot about once a month to splurge on a book. The historic location is fun and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. If I'm not sure what to read next, I rely on their recommendations, and I'm usually not disappointed. The books are pretty pricey compared to Amazon/Barnes & Noble, but it's worth it to support a great Colorado business.
