  Excellent! I literally go all over Astoria finding the best slice and this might be it! Went at around 5 on a Monday and it was right out of the oven fresh! Def recommend it

  My favorite pizza place! The pizza is always fresh and delicious, the service is good and deliveries are always on time.

  Definitely the best slices, regular and toppings, in Astoria—- prices are great, too. Parm heros are huge delicious, and the guys that work there are super friendly.

  Terrible. I ordered online and waited 2 hours 15 mins for delivery. It was done through the slice app which was a total waste of time. Slice emailed to say that the delivery guy from Taste of Italy called by but tried giving the food to the neighbours who refused it. An awful mess. I think I've been charged full price for this debacle. L

  This place is a cut above your typical counter service pizza place. Good, tasty sauce, cheese and toppings, and crust that is crispy on the bottom with a little bit of char. My son had a pepperoni slice (I took a few bites). I had the "Hot & Cold Salad", which was delicious: rolls of crispy, fried eggplant, and slices of sautéed zucchini and onions (the hot) with spring mix, tomato, carrot, etc., topped with a nice dressing of balsamic, oil and herbs. I was quite pleasantly surprised. I am forced to eat at pizza-by-the-slice places often, due to the restrictive dietary preferences of my 5-year-old, but the salads and other foods at these places tend to be marginal at best. I really enjoy it when I can find a place that serves some healthier dishes and cares about the quality of these less frequently ordered items. I have yet to try other items on the menu at Taste of Italy, but I'd be willing to bet they do them well. There was one guy behind the counter, making all the food, running the cash register, etc. He was super busy, but really friendly and seemed to enjoy making sure everyone's food came out nice and tasty. Also, the $1 soft-serve ice cream (vanilla, chocolate, or - our favorite - swirl) is great for kids.
