  Went there today and had the beat salad and veggie burger, food was amazing. We wanted to split the beet salad and they put it on two separate plates for us, and it was delicious and I’m not even a big beet person. Food and service was amazing! Will be back!

  Fantastic, creative menu! The food is delicious and very well prepared. The owner/manager is incredibly friendly; he visited with all the tables to make sure everyone was enjoying their meals. The ambience is cozy and romantic, excellent spot for a date.

  Great place to eat before a show at the Music Hall, or anytime. Owners and staff are super friendly and the menu is seasonal!

  Wonderful evening. Good service, but the food was fantastic. They have a standard menu, as well as a seasonal menu. Started off with tuna tartare, and it was delicious. Generous portion, beautifully plated. I think it could have used a bit more area salt to really bring out the flavor, as well as more citrus or acid. My date had the butternut squash soup, rich and flavorful, though it made me think of fall. He had the scallops, again, beautiful presentation. Scallops were buttery and tender, cooked perfectly. I had the salmon, skin was crispy and browned, not burnt. Salmon was a little too well done, I prefer it med-rare. Overall, great evening, I would definitely go again.

  We've driven past a dozen times and this was the first time we decided to try Tarry Tavern. What a pleasant surprise! For appetizers we had the pork cheek and the gnocchi; both were delicious! We had the pork shank for dinner and the meat literally fell off the bone. So tender and the sweet potato puree was a perfect compliment to the meat. The tiniest details were not overlooked - they gave us a new fork for each course and even cleaned the tablecloth in between courses. The desserts all had a homemade meringue which was a perfect touch. The prices are very reasonable. Even the bathrooms are immaculate. We will definitely go back!
