  I admit, I love Target. Target, Macy's, Blick's and Home Depot are my downfalls. Whenever Target made the decision back in the 90s, or whenever, to hire an actual designer to do their furniture and home stuff, it was a stroke of genius. Their prices in California are better than they are at Walmart, and being inside a Target is actually a pleasant experience, as opposed to an assault and exercise in fighting off depression. And they have such cute kids' clothes!

  Store is usually clean, people are helpful, they need to exercise better control of their merchandise though, I've brought expired condiments to their attention twice in the last six months.

  I've noticed that they are trying to push self check which is fine. But when you have line waiting for self check out and one register open also with a line why would you have 16 checkout lanes just sitting not being used. Prices are also high but then again it's high end store.

  We were there poke hunting/raiding so remained primarily outside. But - the staff and management were fantastic!!! There were at least two dozen people outside their store and things they said to us were "please be careful and not get so excited anyone steps into the road" and "please feel free to come inside if anyone gets to hot or needs the restrooms." This was absolutely great and, next time I go shopping, while I do not usually shop at Target - I will be going to that particular store. Any manager who has that kind of foresight and kindness is running a store where I want to shop 🙂
