  Firts and last time, came with the family they took so long to take our order. Than when they started to bring the food they start getting extra food that we did not order. They remove the extra after we told them. At the time of paying they were charging us for extra food that we did not order and they have to fix the problem almost 4 time. Besides the cashier just rolled her eyes at us even it was their mistake. They end it and almost keep my card. They cause all the problems and forget to return my card. Really. Please I know they are bad days. But at least. Take your time and breath instead of rolling your eyes at the costumers.

  My cousin and I ordered takeout. She went so I cannot say about the atmosphere or service much. The food tho was not that great. I ordered huevos con chorizo a la Mexicana (eggs and chorizo mexican style) and my chorizo was burnt. Not bad that I couldn't eat it but yeah burnt. The frijoles were decent, not the best I've had but not the worst either. The rice was ok at best. The best part was the horchata (rice milk) drink, and even then it wasn't the best. It was overly sweet and I couldn't taste any cinnamon at all. I probably won't be going back.

  The 2 waitress were to busy trying to get dates with 2 other male customers and service was slow I had to get their attention several times, the food was blend no flavor I had one Gordita witch came with jus the tortilla and meat, needs a real cook or chef, the decor needs updating. Will not return.

  The only food item I tried was the carne asada torta, so for me that item could've been cooked better, it was pretty sad and bland. The atmosphere left much to be desired, the decor needs some updating. The service was great, friendly and pleasant. However I would not return due to the food, cost and ambience.

  Definitely a fan of El Mason late night when frequenting Cicero. I’ve only really been here past midnight, but I’ve never been disappointed so fairly surprised at the average reviews. Service is good. Complimentary chips and salsa is nice. Dish of tortillas that comes with the ham and eggs breakfast is perfect. Also highly recommend the tacos and gorditas as I usually order large amounts of food from here.
