  I got box braids done with them and they did a wonderful job . It lasted about 4 months . Will definitely go back, for some more braids, I’m just taking a small break from braids right now, but I will definitely be back.

  I have been a customer for over 5 years. I have been to other African Hair Braiding shops and none compares to Talitha Cumi Braids. The owner is such a sweet lady. She goes out of her way to she sure customers are satisfied and happy. I have gotten box braids, kinky twists, Senegalese twists, micros and corn rows...and I have been very happy with the results! The shop is clean and the hair stylists are all professional and very nice. The staff will help you with knowing what hair to purchase and will even give advice on what style is good for you. They really try to work around customers’ schedules to provide a great experience. If you need your hair braided and don’t know where to go...look no more.   I have been coming to this shop for more than 5 years. I love the attention they give to their customers’ hair. They truly care about the health of my hair and not just braiding it. Yesterday, I received faux locs for the first time. I was nervous, but they calmed my nerves, made sure each strand of my hair was strong enough for the amount of braiding hair they were going to add to it and the end result was beautiful. My only complaint is that the braids are a little tight. I would recommend taking Advil before you come, however I am very tender-headed, so it could just be me. Awesome shop, wonderful hairstylist, great atmosphere! I’m proud to be a customer here.

  Truly the best hair experience in my life. I am not from Texas or even close I live up north (where the closest hair braiding shop is four hours away). I was visiting Fort Worth for work and decided to put my trust in the shop I called to do my hair and Talitha Cumi was a God send. This place was wonderful.The owner worked with me to make sure I got my hair done even when my plane landed 5 hours later than my scheduled appointment. She was really understanding and super kind. The prices are great and my hair is super cute! Took her only 3.5 hours to do my Senegalese twist and she made sure to be extra careful with my very thin sides. Seriously the best experience and I lived in Georgia before where you couldn't throw a rock without hitting a hair store.

  I only go here to get my hair braided. They do professional and great work! I don’t know what these other reviewers are taking about but I have been coming here for years and have not had a bad experience. The ladies have always been forthcoming, honest and friendly. I got Senegalese twists and I have very fine hair. They did a great job and it only took 3 hours. No, I am not hired to say this I just wanted to give kudos where kudos is due.
