  The food was tasty and our bartender concocted a drink based on the ingredients we wanted and it was excellent.

  I emailed them letting them know I had a party coming to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. They sectioned off a part of the bar and by the end of the night seemed irritated when people asked for water. The manager came up to our table around midnight and said that we had to leave and “could go upstairs or go home.” She was very aggressive and for no reason. We hadn’t been asked to leave prior to her approaching us— for some reason she decided to get nasty with us. Not sure why— perhaps we didn’t bring in enough business? I made sure to ask the bar whether there was a minimum prior to the party and they assured me there was none. Also, there were still other people in the bar when she kicked us out. When I asked her politely, she emphasized that she was the manager (talk about power trip) and that there were only people who worked in the bar staying there. This was a complete lie and I replied, “okay, just wanted to clarify.” She was extremely passive aggressive. Not sure what the problem was — again I think we didn’t bring in as much money as she had hoped, but that is no reason to treat people that way. We still brought in some good business, 15 or so people, so not quite sure why she treated us like dirt. Terribly rude and entitled people that work here— especially the manager

  Was visiting DC and checked out this place. Great atmosphere and excellent beer selection. We also had a server named Tim who went above and beyond in making sure my friends and I were content. Next time I'm in DC I'll be back!

  Nice deck overlooking the city. Deck floors EXTREMELY sticky from built up drinks that have been spilled and not cleaned. Had their Caribbean mule, not impressed. Overall, spacious and inviting.
